Chew Boon
Juan was born 1875 in China. He came to Malaya in 1892 at age of seventeen where
he made his wealth.
During his
life in Malaya, Chew Boon Juan took four wives who gave him six sons and ten
daughters.

He
semi-retired in 1912 and shifted to Penang where he resided at 4, North Beach
Road / Gurney Drive occasionally living at his bungalow in Ipoh at Chamberlain
Hulu Road (now Raja Perempuan School)
