Christine Yeoh's 70th Birthday (3) - Datuk Lim Si Boon's Private Tour

After lunch Datuk Lim took the guests to see the house of  Yeoh Ghim Khoon on Thomson Road

Later the guests were taken to Datuk Lim's family home. It was built by his father Datuk KK Lim and his seven siblings to maintain family traditions and keep the family together.

Christine Yeoh's 70th Birthday (2) - Visiting The Museum And Lunch At Meru Valley Resort

Earlier in the day Yeoh Chee Yong, Yeoh Chee Yan and her husband Eddy Chong and

Yeoh Lam Hock with Datuk Lim Si Boon visited the Chew museum. The Yeoh's from Singapore were the descendants of Yeoh Kian Hong.

This was their first time at the museum. Museum curator and owner Ignatius Chew was on hand to greet them and showed them around the museum.

Yeoh's were surprised at what Ignatius had prepared for them 

 The museum housed photographs of the Chew Lim and Yeoh families dating back over 100 years ago. The relatives were amazed with the items on display and took photos.

Later the group met Christine Yeoh and the family for lunch at the Datuk Lim’s Meru Valley Resort.

...  and the whole family

Christine Yeoh Choo Hoon, the Managing Director of Sri Maju Group and sister of Bond actress Tan Sri Dato’ Michelle Yeoh celebrated her 70th birthday recently.

Celebrating with her on that special day was the whole family, and it was a very large family, some flying in from Singapore, England and Spain.

They joined Christine for dinner at the Mun Choong Restaurant, Pasir Putih where she later cut her birthday cake and blew out the candles and rendered the guests two songs, ‘What a wonderful world’ and ‘Que Sera Sera’.

Unfortunately Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh was unable to attend due to filming commitments said members of the family when enquired.

Continuing with the merriment was Datin Janet Yeoh who was invited by Christine to karaoke.  

Datin Janet gladly obliged by singing a Chinese number while Christine took photographs with members of the families. 

The night carried on with more of the family taking to the stage and merrymaking the night away.
