Honda's
'Kids Colouring Contest' yesterday August 13 saw a strong attendance from
children participating in the contest.
The event at
Ban Hoe Seng Sdn Bhd showroom took a grand step upward as the winners had the
pleasure of receiving their prizes from World Champion Pastry Chef En-Ming Hsu.

Honda
authorized dealer Ban Hoe Seng, was one of
scores of authorised dealers throughout the country that opened their showrooms
for the contest.
En-Ming and
Ban Hoe Seng Chairman Ignatius Chew are close relatives and the World Champion
graciously presented the winners their prizes.
Hsu"s
mother Barbara Chew Weng San was born in
Ipoh. Both mother and daughter live in the United States and are currently in
Ipoh for a vacation.
Another
family member Jamie Chang made an appearance as a Star Wars personality
complete with a ‘Princess Leia’ lookalike by his side causing the participating
children to briefly down their colouring pencils.
Providing
support for the event was Honda Malaysia, Sales and Planning, Department Head
Rachel Tan.

Honda's 'Kids Colouring Contest' was opened to 3 age categories 3-6, 7-9 and 10-12 year olds
Only the
first from each category would be eligible to contest for the grand prize of 2
tickets to the Malaysian Grand Prix in October as well as "Toys 'R'
Us" shopping vouchers.

As is common
at all Ban Hoe Seng events lunch was held at Ignatius Chews family museum
allowing the public a glimpse of Ipoh history.
All patrons
who attended the event participated in a lucky draw and everyone walked home
with a goodie bag.
